The Laser Sleeve: More Than Just Shiny
Holographic laser paper is one of those finishes that looks easy until you try to produce it consistently at volume. We use a premium laser film laminated to rigid board, which creates that shifting rainbow reflection — teal, magenta, gold, green — as the box moves under light. The key is lamination consistency. Cheap laser paper has hot spots and dull patches; ours is calibrated so the effect is even across the entire sleeve, every box in the run.

The Drawer Mechanism: Smoothness Is a Feature
A drawer box lives or dies by how it opens. Too much friction and the customer struggles; too little and the drawer slides out on its own when the box is tilted. We manufacture these with a controlled tolerance between the inner drawer and the outer sleeve — typically 0.3–0.5mm — which gives that smooth, deliberate glide without any binding. We also add a subtle finger notch on the drawer front, so there's always an easy grip point.
The interior is a clean white, which creates a sharp contrast against the holographic exterior. That contrast is intentional: it makes the product inside pop. Whether it's a vape pen, a small cosmetic item, or a tech accessory, the white background lets the product be the visual focus rather than competing with a busy interior.
What Fits Inside
The standard configuration works well for single e-cigarette devices, vape pens, and similar-sized products. A custom fitted insert — available in EVA, molded pulp, or paperboard — holds the device securely, with optional small cavities for a USB cable, replacement pod, or user manual. For cosmetics brands, we've done versions with a tray for a lipstick or serum bottle; for tech accessories, a recessed slot for earbuds or a charging case.
Because the drawer format is modular, we can adjust the interior depth without changing the outer sleeve dimensions. That's useful if you're launching multiple SKUs in the same product line — one box structure, different inserts, consistent brand presentation on shelf.
